Brief info
My inspiring journey began in Haiti as one of 8 siblings, born in 1970.
At the age of 16, I ventured to the US in September 1986, facing the daunting challenges of adapting to a new culture and language while transitioning into adulthood.
Throughout the years, I took up job opportunities, as custodian, security, instructor, manager and director. I graduated from Washington Ervin Evening High school and then entered Medgar Evers College to continue my studies in Liberal Arts. Due to family illness I had to pause my formal education to care for my beloved mother. My aspiration is to continue my education and become a full fledged minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
While searching for a higher calling I encountered the Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) message, thanks to the efforts of two remarkable individuals, Sister Syrus and Sister Small.
Their door-to-door ministry led them to my doorstep, introducing themselves, inviting me to church, and becoming my mentors in faith.
In December 1993, I embraced the Seventh Day Adventist faith and devoted my life to Christ. While working as a Black car/ Limousine driver, what can only be described as God’s hand, led me to meet a wonderful young lady named Judith N. Francis from the beautiful island of Jamaica with a lovely soft voice. We got married in January 1994, about 30 years.
I am the husband of one wife. We are blessed with a beautiful and smart daughter named Shaianne E Pierre, born in 1995 and a handsome and intelligent son, Shane Daniel Pierre, born in 1999. Guided and supported by the church, both children received a comprehensive Adventist education, from Pre-K through college and university.
Driven by the desire to help others, I embarked on entrepreneurial endeavors, currently I operates 3 businesses, LASI security company INC., LASI Security Guard training school and this non for profit organization called Source of life ministry International Inc as the founder, president and CEO. I provide volunteer services through NYC with the police department as an Auxiliary Police Officer. My commitment to the church is evident as I served with the Deacon board for 10 years from 1996 to 2016 as an ordained deacon. In August 2017, I was ordained as elder, furthering my dedication to the spiritual growth of my church. Beyond my church roles, I devote time to nurture my garden, offering advice, leading bible studies, and preaching locally and abroad.
My passion lies in spreading the gospel, strengthening the church, and extending a helping hand to others. My home has become a sanctuary for countless individuals, I have warmly welcomed over the years, recognizing that the blessings I received are meant to be shared for the betterment of others. My unwavering faith and commitment to service have shaped a life that echoes the principles of compassion, love for my fellow men and love for Christ. I have led many to Christ, through Bible study and baptism.
