Mark Parkinson is a distinguished military veteran, accomplished financial services professional, and dedicated leader whose life has been defined by service, integrity, and unwavering commitment to excellence. Born and raised in Jamaica as the eldest of 10 children, he graduated from Mannings High School in Westmoreland before beginning an eleven-year career with the Jamaica Defence Force. During his service, he protected communities across Jamaica and neighboring islands, served in VIP protection, and developed the discipline, leadership, and operational expertise that shaped his future endeavors.

Following his military career, Mr. Parkinson pursued entrepreneurship, launching and managing several business ventures ranging from product sales to custom furniture design and manufacturing. His adaptability, creativity, and business acumen allowed him to thrive across diverse industries.

In 2004, he migrated to Brooklyn, New York, where he and his wife raised three exceptional daughters—Cerena Parkinson MFA (Master of Fine Arts) Oxford University, Hopelyn Parkinson, BA in International Business (Temple University, Fox School of Business), and Anayah Parkinson (rising 10" grade student at Franklin School, Jersey City). His dedication to family mirrors his commitment to community involvement. He has volunteered with the Bethel SDA Church Sharing Program, served on the Fulton Street Business Alliance (FAB), The Caribbean Chamber of Commerce, held the role of PTA President, and currently serves as President of the Jamaica Ex-Soldiers Association Inc.

For the past twenty-one years, Mr. Parkinson has built a remarkable career with New York Life Insurance Company. Guided by the principles of honesty, integrity, consistency, and dedication, he has eared numerous accolades, including Executive Council, MDRT, and Senior NYLIC recognition. His achievements reflect both his professional excellence and his deep commitment to serving clients with care and competence.
